As an Associate at SCRB, Emily brings her background in communications, research and digital strategy, having worked with candidates and measures up and down the ballot since joining SCRB.
In the 2018 cycle, Emily provided support on clients ranging from Governor and Congress to Mayor and District Attorney. Emily helped manage multi-million dollar media buys from scripting to shipping on clients such as Eleni Kounalakis for Lt. Governor and supported the team on major accounts with the Senate Majority PAC and the DCCC.
In addition, Emily helped lead and manage Oakland Mayor Libby Schaaf's re-election campaign, where Schaaf became the first Oakland Mayor to win re-election in 16 years. Emily managed paid and earned media relations, assisted in research and polling, fundraised, and helped build the internal campaign team.
Emily started her career as a digital strategist on red-to-blue Congressional races across the country. In this role, she managed a client portfolio of 10 Democratic candidates and Congressional members and consulted on email strategy and digital advertising.
As an undergraduate at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, Emily served as the editor-in-chief of the Political Science Review. She was also the president and founder of the Cal Poly chapter of California Women's List, a PAC dedicated to electing pro-choice Democratic women to state office. Emily graduated from Cal Poly with honors in 2017.
