Anne Moriarity

Anne is a Director at SCRB Strategies, where she utilizes her experience in government, communications, campaigns, and advocacy to help clients tell stories and win races.

At SCRB, Anne has worked with candidates running for District Attorney, Mayor, nearly every California statewide office including Governor and Lieutenant Governor, Congress, and President. In the 2018 cycle, she supported campaigns to flip Arizona’s Senate seat, protect New Jersey’s Senate seat, and flip 4 of California’s House seats, including managing paid media for Katie Porter’s successful bid in Orange County, helping Democrats to regain the House majority. She also helped run three of the largest ballot measures on California’s 2018 ballot -- Props 6, 8, and 10 -- crafting robust statewide paid media campaigns amid steep opposition.

Before joining SCRB, Anne was a Director at Lighthouse Public Affairs, managing government relations, communications, and political strategy for a diverse portfolio of private sector and non-profit clients throughout the Bay Area.

Anne began her career on Capitol Hill, serving most recently as Deputy Chief of Staff to Congressman Scott Peters of San Diego, helping to open his Washington, D.C. office after he unseated a six-term incumbent in 2012. In the 2014 cycle, she led the community outreach on Rep. Peters' successful reelection campaign in San Diego. Previously, Anne started on the Hill with former Congressman Brad Miller of North Carolina.

Anne holds a Bachelor's in History and Political Science from Duke University, and originally hails from northern Virginia, just outside Washington, D.C.
